Thanks Todd,
deeply honoured to be even considered on the same page as Bill. What I have done so far is the easy stuff I needed to get the basics in place create a picture so people understand what I am trying to achieve. I have lot's in mind as far as refinements are concerned hey and these can go on for ever lmfao.gif

Kind Regards

Bleep,
I've spent some time this morning reading your track & blog threads. This is an amazing and inspirational piece of work. Top Job!

From a piece of land in the corner of the garden to where you are today is mint! Even my girlfriend is impressed!

May I ask what you used to paint your track? This is something I want to do on my on circuit but I'm not sure how to prep the surface or what sort of paint to use.

Thanks
Mikey

Mikey,
So glad you like like it, particularly glad that your girlfriend likes it! rolleyes.gif I’ll let you into a secret my wife has only been into the shed, “Slot Shack” twice, she thinks us boys that play with toys are crazy but supports any of silly ventures and even lets me buy the occasional car.

As for the paint it’s very expensive I get it from a rather exclusive shop called “Willkinsons”(LOL) it’s called rubberised undercoat it is slightly lighter than on my track as I have added a touch of black paint to mine. It cost under a fiver can’t remember exactly, its very thick and covers really well. As for cleaning the track I suppose you should use some sort of sourer, my track was washed then I just painted over the track it is undercoat after all.

Cheers for the info Bleep, much appreciated.

Thankfully my GF is a bit of a petrol head. She...
1) accompanies me to Silverstone for the F1.
2) is very concerned that our Impreza is not an STi incarnation.
3) is more bothered about the price of petrol than bread !!!
