A challenge ! Want to do a racing pair of the Austin Healey Sprite and the MG Midget, with front-mounted motor, full interior, steering and so on. Thes cars are so titchy...

AND a fellow SlotForumist wanted me to do a copy of the Sprite, so here it is.

It's based on a simplified chassis compared to the earlier one I built - a Scaley Metro chassis, cut to size, and elegantly mounted using the original tab on the back of the chassis at the back, plus a single post & screw at the front.

A 'head and shoulders' interior, with driver made up from Airfix & MRRC bits; the interior tray is removable for dusting.

Roof and wheels are resin castings taken from the original.

Colour was a bit of a so-and-so; the kit's grey, so had to be painted - I made up as close a match as possible to my original, using Vallejo acrylics.
