QUOTE("Slot Classic @ November @ 29th 2006")

We would like to announce that we have nearly ready our next reference, the CJ27, a totally new model. It is the Ferrari TR 59/60, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960, driven by Gendebien/Paul Frere and with number 11. Here you can see Diego Serrano's drawing, which will be featured with the car's box.

Given the high demand towards our models, we have taken the decission to increase the series to 500 units, amount which we expect will be enough to avoid that this new model becomes sold out too quickly, like it happened with the Lancia Aurelia (CJ26 and CJ26/C) and prevent speculation. Our aim is that all the Slot Classic collectors are able to get the new releases at a reasonable price.

In the following days we will put the first pictures of the car, which will be delivered for the beginning of the next year. We are already taking reservations at our email address: info@slotclassic.com

In www.barcheta.cc there is more information of the real car (chassis number #0744) and a recent picture of Paul Frère at the wheel.

But if you are interested it has been painted by Benoît Deliège

Perhaps the important information it's in the phrse I have highlighted: Given the high demand towards our models, we have taken the decission to increase the series to 500 units

When in 2004 May 18th, Slot Classic annonced CJ-23, there was room for another livery of the same model: the Robert Walker's car that Moss drove to win the Goodwood Trophy in 1961, seventh win for Moss in this event. In June 7th they announced it, and now it's officially CJ-29:

Some days are bright in the life of a collector. For a little one as I am, the idea of being behind one item history it's cool. So today my friend Gustavo has announced me that the red Lancia Aurelia I was dreaming it's officially announced by SlotClassic:

We would like to present the CJ-26/C Lancia Aurelia B-20 "CARTOFFOLI", a small series limited to 100 units.

With this reference we would like to pay tribute to the wonderful belgium artist Hergé, a great racing enthusiast, who in his story "The Calculus Affair" ("L'Affaire Tournesol") gave birth to an intrepid and quick italian character called Arturo Benedetto Giovanni Giuseppe Pietro Archangelo Alfredo CARTOFFOLI DE MILANO, pilot of a fast Lancia Aurelia.

Whe I had first news of CJ-26, I asked for a spare kit to do it with the help of Jordi Tous, but I wasn't the only one with this idea so César Jimenez has done it again, releasing it officially. Now all Tintin Fans and slot racer enthusiasts wil be happy!

I have corrected the series units as César has increased it by popular demand!

All began when I was trying to figure how to attract slot related visitors to a collectors event for wich I was working

Verdú, Capital del Col·lecionisme

I have attracted a modelcar collector, Carles Balet, that brought an atonishing exposition I had no idea of it but behind the poster

There were real showroom ideas!

Sure, it was a real success. But I needed to justify me, showing a slotcars collection.

And I did it!

I have loaded to Verdú almost all my resin cars and put them in some order.

The cars were scrambled, the real value was hidden, but no so deeply. The people who came apreciated it, but my greatest joy was my wife's comment:
'The collection looks fine, but next time you take them to a show, it should be different!'

So my concern is: how to set up my new show?
