Late one Friday night,

I discovered that Edo is not just a Thingie maven but is indeed a Renaissance Man. He sent me two Eagle Indy bodies that have been superbly painted and detailed by Tom Andersen...

...and below...a Tom Andersen Ferrari that was lacking enough headroom for a 16D motor...

...which upon further inspection proved to be no problem. The driver's head was the culprit as the neck/mounting peg had a few vertabrae hidden below the underside of the interior. A little neurosurgery will give enough clearance (barely) for a 16D...

...early the next morning,

...before

...after

Back in the day...heads were set much lower into the shoulders!

Hi Bob
I hope you're well and nicely set up in your new space!
I've just found out that Tom Andersen's interiors, the ones glued with black or clear silicone, can just be detached by delicately tearing them away from the body.
I've just done that on 3 F1s done by him and the paint does not come off!. That way I can set them lower so that the head does not stick unnaturally high.
Have you got a new email? mine is always the same in case you want to talk to me.
Ciao Bob
my very best
Edo
