The BRM Tyres come is 15 shore, 22 shore and 30 shore.

The 30 shore tyres are the standard ones for BRM cars so I will talk about them:

It is a good idea to true the tyres down until they are very thin, BUT... be very careful when doing this. Do it slowly as the air tyres get hot quickly...

After this, round them off at the edges smoothly.

To soften them, I used muscle rub but most tyre treaters do the trick. Clean them after every race as then can pick up alot of dust from the track due to the size of them.

I dont tape these tyres as I find it reduces grip on them, but others feel that it increases it... Its all personal opinion

The BRM Series have now got the quick release system. This works as there are rubber O-rings in the screw inserts...
You will find that the screws are all ready attatched to the body

Leave these in the car and when you are putting it together, you will just be able to slot the body into the chassis.
This is a good invention for endurance races as you dont need to mess around with screws and washers
However if there are oily substances in the car, it will make the body come off very easily which can become a problem

Overall I like the idea but be careful and make sure you assemble them together properly as if you put to much force on the chassis, it will deform it

The scaleauto porsche retails at about £80.00. It is made in different liveries. I personally like the red and white penthouse livery.....

The tyres will do very good round corners and if you have the controller, you can accelerate your way through the corner and hardly slide out.

I use muscle rub on the tyres. This softens them and makes them very grippy. When using muscle rub on these tyres, do not over do it as they will become sticky and your lap times will increase. If that happens, leave the tyres to sweat and apply lighter fluid.

The motor on the car is very good. It is hungry for power and you can tell this if you are racing against one... They drain the track power if you are racing on a shared power source.

Make sure you are racing with a decent controller as they wear the rubbish ones out very quickly...

Always keep an eye on the dirt getting into the car as it can very easilly get into the spur gear and effect performance.

The guide is very good and along with the tyres, provides that edge over BRM's in my oppinion.

Clean braids regulary too as they it will affect performance, especially in this car...

If you have the money, I would definately buy one of these as they give a competative car for 1/24th for drivers with high skill level. If you are a more novice driver, I would stick with BRM.
