Building and plastering is complete, electrics are all in(although the electrician forgot to connect in the rain sensors for the windows). Plumbing has been done(radiators are in and the en-suite shower room has been installed and then removed so the tiler can do his stuff)

I have been up and measured the space available for the track, looks like there is plenty.

Painting starts in a couple of weeks, and then we start moving in, Yippee!

Four weeks into the construction and we have lost 2 days because of the plumber and 2 days because the Building Inspector wanted more insulation, not sure where the other day went(you never know it might be a builders estimate)

The hole is cut in the ceiling so I have had a little peek to get an idea of the space, stairs go in Monday and Tuesday next week. By that time the internal walls should be in as well so I can really get an idea of the space available.

Unfortunately my wife has barred me from buying anymore cars until the loft is complete, it would appear that taking over the top of the dressing table is not acceptable ohmy.gif

I am getting an itchy trigger finger, although I may have to rub some anti-histamine in, it would appear that that priority is to get my wife's room sorted first, something to do with making some space available in case her children want to come and visit.

The builders are arriving on Monday morning, the loft is cleared out(I didn't realise I had keep so much old tut 'Just in Case').

Six weeks is the schedule and there will be a new 4m x 4m room in the loft for my racetrack.

I think I'll spend this weekend coming up with another design for the track, purely recreational of course because I have only seen the preliminary plans so I don't know where the doors are going and the power points and the windows and other such things which will get in the way.
