I'm really looking forward to the first race of the Freeport SuperStox. These little cars look mean, and are a great platform for Boss Bodies American compact cars.

There were 7 drivers, and 7 heats. The race was a little ugly due to having some first time drivers. Emily did pretty well considering she had never driven one of the modifieds until race day practice. To view the video visit: http://slotcaroval.ning.com/video/modified...msg_video_ready

A few years ago, you could still get $20 or $30 dollar slot cars. Now, $50 seems like the standard mark for considering something expensive. How did it happen? We had the Artin platform as a builder's base. It was under $20 for a car sans body. Now, no such animal exists. Isn't there a market for something like this?
