SlotForum does not allow the use of anonymizer services and reserves the right to delete member accounts that are intentionally hidden from the moderators.
Are you a Retailer or slotcar related business or do you have a commercial interest in slotcars? We have rules and guidelines for Retailers. Please read them here.
SlotForum does not allow the use of advertising in your member name (forum ID), Avatar or Signature. This includes brands and website addresses. Unless with the permission from SlotForum administrators.
Posting of eBay listings (with the intent of promoting a sale) is only allowed in the SlotForum Swap Shop. Swap Shop topics can only be started by Plus+ members. Plus+ members may offer slotcar related items for sale directly to other members in the Swap Shop area. Selling of any other nature is not allowed in any other part of the forum.
Joining the forum with the sole intent on selling something or even getting a value of a model you have so that you can sell is not allowed. If you are not interested in becoming part of the community, then don't sign up.
We are committed to promoting the hobby and we realise that there are other slotcar forums, but we see some as competition so we do not allow promotion of other forums or direct linking to other forums in signatures or posts.

If you have any complaint or query about these Guidelines / Terms & Rules, then please contact one of the moderators or the forum administrator.
NOTE: Due to spamming problems, there is also a manual administrator validation in place as well as the user email validation. This means a forum administrator does a manual check before you are validated and can post on the forum. If your email address, user name or IP address is suspect and is listed on a public spammer database, you will not be validated. If you are not getting in, please send us an email, explain who you are and what your favourite hobby is and we'll validate your account. This manual validation is done a few times a day DURING UK OFFICE HOURS ONLY and could take a few hours so please be patient. If you register over the week-end, you will only be validated on the following Monday. If you register in the evening, you will only be validated on the following BUSINESS day (UK).
By following through with your registration, we assume that you have read and agree with these rules.
Should you be unable to complete your registration because for some reason you don't receive your account validation email (usually an overzealous spam filter), then please contact us at admin@slotforum.com and we will help you join up. Please include your Forum ID in the email. Before you do contact us, try and login after a few hours - quite often your registration will be accepted - even if you don't get any email from the forum. Give us a few hours to process the registrations as it's done manually (DURING UK OFFICE HOURS ONLY).
