If anyone would like me to work out the long/lat for their venue, PM me. Increasingly, this is how people navigate to places.

Especially useful for out-of-the-way clubrooms where a postcode does not cut it, or can be plain misleading...

Thanks to everyone so far who hacve taken the time to list their clubs details.
We've made a start listing the clubs on the Slot Festival official website, also as i stated in my opening post the list will be reproduced albeit in a simplified form in the Official Show guide for the 2012 festival and will be handed out FREE to every visitor.
Therefore its very difficult to believe that there are still lots of clubs out there who haven't registered their details yet.
This is FREE - YES FREE advertising for your club.
So come on 'Lets be having ya'
Sean

Very true.

For the programme purposes, as Sean says, there will be limited space, so it'll probably just be name of club/area/web address/email address/phone number.
If you list here you'll be in. If you don't you might not. Obviously we're going to trawl other club listings elsewhere to find out where people are, but if you've got old info on there, that's what might get printed (remember we're going to be working hard to get everything done, so if you can't take the time to help yourself... )

Therefore, get on here and post up-to-date info please wink.gif

cheers

Computer controlled racing on our new 105ft, six lane Scalextric Sport track, every Tuesday evening 8 till late.

Each week we race one of a variety of classes that reflect the real world of motor racing.
All brands of slotcars are used in the process. Classes typically- Sportscar, GT, Touring cars, Rally and F1.

Then there are classes for historic cars, e.g. Classic & CanAm, GoodWoodGreen, and TransAm, here we encourage scratchbuilding using resin or fibreglass bodies.

We also have our Clubcar Handicap, where everyone can race the NASCAR's owned by the club.
