Peter, I feel pretty compelled to comment on the great looking cars, they all look Fabulous!!

Really top notch builds every one!

I was just flashing back to 6 or 7 years ago when I first switched from 1/32 to 1/43 and the typical cars that I used to see for the proxy races. Coming from 1/32 were proxy entries were works of art, at that time most of the 1/43 Proxy entries did not really have decals, numbers were painted on with dime store brushes, wheels would stick out 1/4" on either side and people would see how many magnuts they could stuff in their cars to try and keep their Artin Chassis on the track! Scale accuracy? What was that? tongue.gif

Look how far we've come!! Most of these cars are every bit the equal to their 1/32 or 1/24 cousins:thumbsup:

The Alfa is on the way, had it not had such a hard birth I might have been able to manage at least one more car, I got a couple aluminum channel chassis cars already down the road I am mostly waiting on the set screw crown gears from ranch and I should be able to show a couple other cars I have been working on, even if they won't make the race! cool.gif

I envy you being able to drive all those nice cars! smile.gif

Bravo and Congratulations to all the entrants!

Just thought I would post an update so everybody would know what's going on.

I just heard from Peter today and apparently the car I sent 16 days ago is STILL not there! Additionally Ted's cars were sent well before mine and they are not there either!

Sorry, Peter, If I had any idsea it would take so long I would have Express Mailed it! I have had packages go down under MUCH faster!

Hope they show up soon!

My cars were mailed on May 24 so don't feel bad Mas and they were sent by Express post.
I too am sorry to those who have their cars at Peter's..

Next time I'll make sure the package has tracking also.
Peter joked that they were sent by Boat. I think a canoe with armless paddelers.... biggrin.gif

On a positive note, I was looking through my cars the other day and dug out my entries from the previous race, put them on the track and ran them, They ran better then I remembered and just looking at them I was reminded of just how much work went into them.

Kinda impressed myself; so much so that it was almost like looking at something that somebody else built! rolleyes.gif I kept thinking to myself "this is really Cool, did I REALLY build this" tongue.gif

Hnag in there Peter and hopefully the cars don't take as long to get back as they took to get there! cool.gif
