You did miss a good one
Vic drove brillant, and put a sidewiner 962 on Pole, in the Race there was never more than a few feet between us, I just slipped through at the end Bobby continues to improve driving his dads Jag to 2nd in the B Final Mike driving Freds Mosler had a real battle with Pete (Pescarolo)in the B... side by side until Pete dropped it just before the end Mags feeling unwell, drove my Repsol 962 straight into a barrier But still a good night |

Had a really good night driving the 'Team Wombat' 962. Just shows if a car is built right then it works really well, whatever the motor / configeration and Alan certainly knows how to build them! Thanks for letting me use it.
Bobby drove my Jag, I thought it would help him stay in the lane better and it worked. He's racing a bit more 'grown up' as the year has gone on and he's a better loser now than at the start of the year! I'm still working on his racing manners, actually his manners in general!!, but everyones patience with him is a credit to the club and he's showing a lot more interest in actually putting the cars together now. His performance drop off as the night gets later isn't as bad as it was, though not sure of the morality in pumping coffee into an eleven year old at tea breaks!! lol Bobby and I are coming to the end of our first year of racing and we enjoy it more and more. Goodness, the learning curve is massive, but a more enjoyable friday we couldn't wish to have. Vic -------------------- New, all things slot car, website - www.ukslotcars.com

Well then, the last Sports race of the year and some good drives well worth a mention, i won, always nice when that happens of course, but the drive of the night without doubt was by Mags, super stuff by her to qualify third,
