The Scalextric Enthusiasts Club
is a club owned by Hornby Hobbies to promote the Scalextric brand of slot cars, track and accessories. No other manufacturers are covered in the magazine, only Scalextric. Club members receive six magazines a year- 'RACER' - and a limited edition slot car. The 2006 model is a 4WD Skoda Fabia as driven by Colin McRae/Nicky Grist on the 2005 Rally GB and endorsed by Colin himself. Club models are only available via the club and are not sold through shops. General comments about the club and constructive criticism welcomed. Individual problems or complaints should be PM'd to Tifosi or emailed to sec@collectorsclubs.org.uk first as many are the result of misunderstandings or poor postal services! Tifosi - RACER feature writer, SEC club administrator, tea maker and general dogsbody! |

Given the increase in slot car prices this year the Scalextric club car is great value. How it handles is anyones guess as I dont have one yet...
Now, if I refer 3 new members [ 2 down already] then I'm in line for some sort of free gift from Scalextric. Has anyone referred 3 new members yet and what did they receive as a gift? Thanks Andy |
