Class rules July to December 2010 @ Pinewood

Modified class 1 = In-line GT’s
Eligible cars = Any current LMP Prototype, GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4 spec car raced at Le-Mans since 1990.
These can be from Ninco, Slot.it, Scalextric, MB-Slot, Avant Slot and SCX.
Please check if you’re not sure before making any purchase.
Motors = Either of the two long-can 20k Scaleauto Motors only.
1. Silver-can version which has standard bearings.
2. Blue-can version with the ball raced bearings.
Motors must fit the motor mount as intended, no turning of the motors is allowed in the mount.
If using a Slot.it motor mount, it must be of the standard Black type. (Not the offset type.)
Bodies = can be slightly modified to allow fitment of In-line motors or different gearing if required. Vac-form interiors may be used.
Wheels/Tyres = Any Alloy or Plastic wheels may be used.
No F1 hubs or F1 tyres may be used.
Only Slot.it tyres from the ‘P’ Range may be used. No tyres from the ‘F’ range may be used.
Gears/Axles = Any gears, pinions, axles and bearings may be used.
Front axles, including wheels and tyres, must remain within the wheel arches.
Rear axle width up to a Max of 65mm.
Weight = Up to 10 grams may be added. This must be fixed securely to the chassis with tape or glue.
Guide/Braid = Any guide and any braid may be used.
Chassis = HRS Chassis may be used, but in-line configuration with Boxer-size standard mount only. (No offset mounts)
For standard cars, the original chassis for the body must be used. I.e. a Ninco Acura must run with a Ninco Acura Chassis.
Chassis may be sanded to allow body roll, but only to a max of 2mm. Magnets must be removed for this class.

Notes = As the motor regs have been changed from the previous rules for this class, anyone wishing to run their old car, with the old motor rules (up to 21k motors allowed, apart from the MB Slot motors), they can, but as part of a separate championship. All the other rules from above will apply.

This Championship will be over 10 rounds, running alongside a 2nd Championship of the Slot.it HRS GT Class again, over 10 rounds.
There will also be another 5 rounds of our Slot.it Endurance Championship, run to the Slot.it Challenge UK rules.

See you all soon, Paul Charlton
