1st round tonight of the amalgamated inline GT/HRS GT from last year at Pinewood tonight, this year you can run either your inline or HRS car, the choice is yours !

All hail the NSR tyre - (as per the pub landlord)

At last, a tyre you can true in 5 mins, run in in 15 laps, doesn't pick up dust AND gives great grip

ALL HAIL THE NSR TYRE !

And I still used my P6's !! Need to sort my NSR tyres out, been sitting around to long sine they where last used.

A great night Dave with 16 of us racing, I like the 1 minute heats. Gives them some meaning as you know you have to go for it but any off can cost you !!

Look forward to the Slot.its next Monday, what tyres will folks be using ?

Regards, Paul C

Dave you ought to be using some of Skid mark's triple strength winter green on those hybrid tyres! banana.gif

(the ref to 'winter green' is a joke, all rules apply subject to credit checks, your house could be at risk if you take it to seriously)

I'm still here as well Dave.

You should be flying on Monday Dave and going supersonic round the track. F4 with F15 sounds like its a cross between a Phantom and Eagle fighter jet!!!

I got some F15's to true Thursday night thewave.gif
Seem to be working well, low 6.0's already on a Slot.it Flat 6 Jaguar.

Still not sure if we should allow the use of these at Pinewood this year, with the return of NSR's for our Club championships that all at the club where happy with because they could all true them.

Anyway, Slot.it series Monday night should be good fun, hope you all have a good weekend and i'll see you there thumbsup.gif .

Hmmm , i dont even know if i have any p tyres, i dont really care about getting points so may run with f tyres as this is slot it challenge rules (which makes it strange that its not allowed in a sic named class but nsr tyres which are not allowed are) as im trying to run tyres in for the sic round in a couple of months.

Lee,

Our Club championship does not follow all the rules of the offical Slot.it Challenge series. I'm not sure why you need to run your F tyres in at Pinewood since you have been using them for 6 months + at your club, but each to his own.

We don't follow all the rules as it seems unfair to those not interested in running the series but want to at club level.

Regards, Paul C.

The ones i have on atm are 2 months old and as far as i am aware no one at our club has had them for more than 3 months, im still trying to work out the best gear ratio etc, just dont understand why they wouldnt be allowed when clearly nsr tyres are going to be better .

I had thought the F tyres were not allowed in our club championship slot it series. I see no reason why our club series has to follow sic rules. For the club, P series and nsr tyres seem the more appropriate, affordable and fairer set up for all our club members.

I Agree with Galaxy, only 1 or poss 2 people can true F tyres at Pinewood, so for fairness we should stick to P's and NSR's

Paul you have to tell us how you get on, I haven't actually got any F15's (or Phantoms for that matter tongue.gif ) yet, though they are on order, I'm sure I had some somewhere I put them somewhere safe, so they'll be lost forever rolleyes.gif
