he did indeed, but that was only about the size of a snooker table, this one needs to be at least the size of the track we were used to using. if it falls on you it WILL kill you haha.

Wayne , as you know . I would be interested in joining any new slot club that forms from the ashes of our old club . Unfortunately TSCC is a bit far to visit on a regular basis .

aye doddsy the flat cap is moving to tscc, 4th wed of the month i think, or something like that. You would have to check the tscc forum for full info.

Also you should check out the new facilities and location it is really only 10 mins further than nercs if coming from the south, it would be good to see you there.

Chances are I've written this message using my mobile blackberry. If this is the case then what is written above might be full of spelling errors, random letters, badly laid out and generally a load of old rubbish - so no different from usual then :)

Tom , if that's the case an extra 10 mins isn't so bad . It makes a big difference being on the Sunny side of the Tunnel smile.gif
Maybe any new club should be a bit further South ? I can't see any point in having two on each others doorstep .

QUOTE (Doug @ 18 Jan 2012, 17:35) *
NERCS Forum Resurrection

When the forum topics were deleted they were mixed into all the trashed topics that have been deleted over the years.

I have managed to gather all the deleted topics started by loosesalute, nerc & ironman.

Quite a few of the pinned topics have been unfortunately merged.

I can put these back up online. The questions are:

- Is there any reason not to do this - legal or otherwise?

- All deleted topics will be restored - I can't differentiate between NERCS topics and for example topics started by Kevin that were deleted by forum mods over the years for whatever reason. Some of the restored topics may be junk, slanderous or break the forum rules. i.e. they may have been deleted before for other reasons. OK with that? We can always re-moderate the topics, but that will be quite a bit of work.

- Are there any other members who started topics in the NERCS section? I can search the trash and restore those topics too.

- I can't un-merge merged topics as I have no reference as to the original topics and topic names. OK?

- Do you want the forum, if restored, to be active (allow members to post) or just a read-only archive?

So do I do this or do we just forget the whole thing?

Hi Doug,
Thanks for your efforts regarding this matter, as far as I'm concerned NERCS is gone and I don't really need any of the previous posts etc. so for me I wouldn't go to too much bother.

Cheers

Dave

Doug

I'm on the same page as the other guys. Don't bother restoring the NERCS stuff.

It's a shame this all imploded. As a new to club racing crasher, I really used to enjoy the posts from NERCS. Looked like you had a great bunch up there.
Hope TSCC doesn't get too swamped and that you all manage to keep club racing in some shape or form. DJ and another poster covered my thoughts very well in earlier posts.

Good luck.
