Hi Colin,
Not sure if I'm going to use mine just yet, but I reckon at £20 it's worth getting a pair just to see how they go.
They really are absolutely gorgeous. A bit embarrassing but I gasped when I took the no33 Auto Union out of the box.
It might be my favourite slot car ever.
Cheers,
Richard

Yup! Yesterday I got a Black Swan Ford GT and an MGB for half price from the Guildford branch thanks to Slot Car Dad's tip off on the other thread. thumbsup.gif

Oh ******** I just bought these for £49.99 on ebay. (Mind you someone was trying to sell a set for £85.)

Having said that it would have cost me more than a tenner to make the trip to my "local" modelzone.

Remember Morton's on Church Street, there was one at the bottom of Sutton Road (no Scaley there though), oh and Zodiac in the four seasons - that's going back a while though. All gone now, what a shame.

I picked up a couple of Sloter LMPs on the 'bay - I had been after one or two having read very good reviews on SlotForum.

First one was listed at £14.99 starting price (£2.99 P&P) and I was the only bidder! Brand new in box - bargain!

Nice details on these models...

A couple of days previously I had found this one also BNIB and on a "Buy It Now" at £19.99 + £3.00 P&P.

Pendles are selling them at £38.00 each!

And for me they are worth that in terms of performance. Murders anything from Ninco and has the edge on popular Spirit Courage C65 on our club track.
Enjoy.

Thanks Steve. I had a sneaking suspicion these could he good. Shame they went bust. We are building a huge routed digital track at our club and I'm hoping for great things from the Sloters.
