Mike was clearly stung by the "Michael can do better!" comment in last week's race-report and drove to a brilliant win in the A Final - nice one Mike, I must remember to insult you more often. Another highlight of the evening was Oli's performance, finally confirming that he does have the talent which we suspected all along.

The results were as follows: -

3 - Jim - 21 pts + 1 pt fastest lap @ 6.701s
4 - Alex - 20 pts
5 - Oli - 19 pts
6 - Alf - 18 pts
7 - Viv - 17 pts
8 - Peter - 16 pts (must stay off the grass)
9 - Roger - 15 pts
10 - James T - 14 pts
11 - Roy - 13 pts
12 - James H - 12 pts
13 - Grant - 11 pts
14 - Keith - 10 pts

Congratulations to Mike for a well deserved win .

A fine drive, especially considering he had Alan and Jim breathing down his neck for the entire race, with them both finishing on the same lap as Mike.

Well done Oli, who dealt best with what can be difficult cars to drive.

As Alf said, if you don't come out of the slot then you don't get grass on your tyres.

Hi Ken. Thanks. Next Monday i start clearing Mum and Dads house which will take quite some time. Once that's finished I should have a lot more time, so we will see how things go.

Nice to get an A final win after such a poor showing over the last two years - must have been the kick up the back side from Alan that did the job ! Mike
