Well that is a very good result. I am just slightly surprised that Slot.it would choose to use an unmodulated LED to indicate lane change? In theory I would have thought that would make it very prone to interference and false lane changes, in practice it seems not.

Of course your test is a test of your sensor system, have you had a chance to try a Slot.it lane change in oXigen mode?

Me to.... ( it might be modulated when changing but thats no problem as long as its off when not changing )

I was very surprised to find this as we were testing the Oxigensystem on a Scalextric track and had problems with the lanechanging.
The lanes changed as expected but wouldnt go back when the next car did´nt change.
It appears as the Incarchip are in the Oxigenmode as they arrive, one has to download the Bootloader and change the mode
to Hornby or Hybrid to make it work on Scalextric.

This is something that can change in the future as a new version for the carchip might have other firmwarepossibilitys....
But for no on it works......

Havent had the opportunity to try the Slot.it lanechanges as they have´nt arrived to Sweden yet.
But we will as soon as it is possible.

Managed to build a working 4lanechange system on the breadboard.
With some really ugly programing.

But it works really fine ! ! !

The soleonids are replaced with LED´s cause I dont have 4 of them at hand.
Feels very promising and Im sure it will work as good for 6 changeovers - the maximum for my "UNO",
That means a 6lanechange system with Masterbrain and hopefully anticollision/logic for around 70 "bucks"
and some work.

Hope to be able to rout a working lanechange over the Eastern weekend.
Will be back with info/pictures
