What with missing events through your birthday, then your wife going to a show, and now visiting your mother, you're beginning to sound like Nick49, Clarkey! Some families just don't appreciate the importance of slot racing.biggrin.gif
Seriously though, if anyone else can't make the 13th, please let us know. We can always move the event to another week.

I could do with some confirmation on numbers guys!!

So far there's me Jim and Peter, going to be a bit lonely me thinks.

Does anyone know if Geoff, Steve or Scott can make?

Scaleymatt is suppose to be coming too with a friend, so if they all turn up it won't be too bad, but I could do with knowing.

Cheers

Geoff confirmed a while back, and reconfirmed when I spoke to him at Swindon.

Can someone remind me what to bring?

I know I chose 50's Sports cars in the knowledge that MrsM had been instructed to get me an AutoArt C-type for crimbo. It hasn't arrived yet!

The fourth Goodwood themed night will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday 10th February 2009.
Entry fee for this wonderful night of fun is a mere £3.00! There are now six classes, so every driver will take part in 24 races.
The classes will be as follows:

Rear engined GP cars 1960 - 1967
Fifties Tourist Trophy
Saloon cars over 2 litres, 1960 - 1967
Front engined post war GP cars
Rear engined Tourist Trophy 1960 - 1967
Pre war GP

Hard bodies only.
Wheels, tyres, chassis, guides, and motors are free choice, but remember this is a "Spirit" of Goodwood night. We're only here to have fun.

There was a low turnout for last night's meeting, but we still managed some good racing. We could do with at least two more regulars so come on, those of you who are thinking about it, don't be shy, we're a friendly bunch of lunatics!
There were four different liveried Pink Kar 250 GTO's in one race so I had to take a picture.

Guess which car belongs to Jim! I have heard of adding weight, but dust ain't gonna add much!

That's a light dusting for Jim. I've seem him race cars that had movable aero parts made of dust. It was like watching a live, 1/32 scale wind tunnel test.

I will try to make the next one. Should have recovered my slot mojo by then.

#8 update... I'll be a regular from April onwards. Can't wait. Will a resin Jag Mk1/2 be OK as a saloon car over 2 litres?

I think I've got the other classes covered. If not smothered. Now I just need to get home and go racing for the first time in five years (gulp!)
