For those busier nights we have now finished the 2nd driver station on the raised podium at the rear of the track.
Wired to take XLR or banana plugs and marked for Parma and German colours...

Thanks to Slot.It for the inner track surround...

We decided on new controllers for the Club too, replacing the aging switchable Parmas..

Last flat screen will go up this week and get that damn cable out of the way and then the scenery to get us ready for the SSC/DSC races

Definately MrM, all we need do is arrange it

Edo, the beauty of these controllers are that they can be used perfectly well in default mode and still work better for any car than the Parma 12/15/20 switchable combos we were using.
Of course everyone is free to use their own still.

A 3 pin connector stops the mistakes that some drivers make with banana plugs.

Is there a standard for wiring XLR connectors?
Like which wire goes to which pin and which sort of XLR connector is used (3 pin plug or socket)?
How widely is this standard used?
