Its a scratch built 69 T/A Camaro driven by Mark Donahue in the 69 championship. It runs a MJK stainless steel chassis and FoxII motor, as do all the other T/A cars in the championship series. Yes I know the driver is on the wrong side but its the only interior I had at the time. Its reasonably on the pace although theres a Dodge Dart that is just too damn fast at the moment.

The car is based on a Revell 1/25 69 Yenko Camaro. We have a Trans/Am series that we started this year. All cars need to run MJK dogbone chassis, MJK tyres and FoxII motors. The fast cars cut about 7.0 second laps the slow cars about 7.3s. As a compaison some slotits with orange endbell motors cut about 6.8s to 7.0s. We delebeately chose slightly under powered cars to make the comp easy for beginners and more experienced racers alike. The car is running real well. Its a fine balance between slide and too much slide. At the moment its perfect so Im not touching anything. The balance starts to go however as the tyres wear. I try and compensate by loosening the body as the slide comes in.

The track is owned by Neil the owner of MJK. Go to the link below and there should be a video. My Camaro is on the far right lane. I get pipped by Neil with about 3 laps to go. The track is truely awesome. I recently installed a new timing system and christmas tree lights on the stat line and some people are still coming to grips with the concdpt. Thats my voice right at the beginning. Enjoy.
