Should not need relays, just a couple of mosfets, or maybe four. They just need to be wired such that dependant on which ones are on, the current flows through the coil one way or another. An H-Bridge would do it, its like reversing a motor.

Would cars 1 and 2 be more likely to change lanes on it's own and cars 7 and 8 be more likely to miss a lane change? If this is correct, would it be best if you were racing with 4 cars to select 3,4,5 and 6?
Best regards, Brian |

I think in practice all cars would be fine. However the ident pulse on the higher numbered cars is longer and more likely to be missed or misinterpreted at speed. I do not the the converse applies, that lower numbered cars will be more prone to unwanted lane changes.

Sorry to revive old thread.
Regarding lanechange wire desoldering, You guys say grey wire cut in narrow section of lc and black wire of the long wire How does that work when lc right and left is each other mirror image. Does one keep applying above and thus allways cut grey wire in narrow section and black in long wire section or reverse wire to disconnect to counter mirror effect? |
