Hi Paul,
I am pleased that you have found this thread and have been able to catch up on the whereabouts of some of the people in the picture. I still see Tony quite regularly but I moved from London to Southampton in 1974 and he moved from London to Somerset about 10 years ago. You would probably like his book which you will find details of in the History and Culture section of his forum.

We met up with Mike Wall a few years ago at a slot car event at Brooklands and he has installed a track in his rather grand garden shed. He now lives in The Forest of Dean, Gloustershire. He holds small meetings on it twice a year.

Some of Bob Diggens cars turned up on E bay a couple of years ago, but I have not heard anything about Kit since I moved.

You may also remember from North London, Ian Fisher, who is still racing in BSCRA (the successor to ECRA) and Rob Lees who was chairman of BSCRA for a few years and maybe Pete Crane who raced with Mike Wall in Area 6 and has appeared on the scene again recently.

You might care to look at the BSCRA website Link particularly the Historic section where you will see that once NLondon had managed to beat ****** Spikes Folly they did rather well in all subsequent National Club Championships.

I am still racing almost as much as I did in the 60's/70's having only last year built a new track at the the Netley club I belong to. Most of the "away" racing involves racing scale models of historic racing cars with hard bodies and rubber tyres rather than vac formed bodies and sponge tyres, great fun.
