My understanding is that the Lane Change Challenge, 6 car Powerbase, is being phased out. There are 3 new digital sets expected this year, all come with the 4 car Powerbase.

The 6 car Powerbase will be available as a separate item, catalog no. C7030.

Are the kits down to Scalextric question.gif or Hornby question.gif ,

Did / have not seen any signs of any future releases, but have a few on the wish list;

Either of the NASCAR's, Taurus or Chevrolet dribble.gif ( I know they do the plain white complete cars in America)
Skoda Fabia,
Maserarti MC12 would be cool smile.gif ,
or the Peugeot 307.

Regards Rollover

Here is a close up 'mini' update of the new stands, showing how large they are on a circuit.

Nice packaging...

Now these buildings are getting more realistic and closer to scale, they look fantastic but there are pitfalls for many tracks...

Easy to build within a couple of minutes (I didn't even open the instructions), the stands are made up of 16 separate pieces, complete with a range of stickers so you can personalise them...

The biggest problem they present is the sheer size! Imaging a row of these, in the correct place on 'Mugello', the whole inner back straight would be hidden. Not ideal no matter how sweet they look...

Here is a close up of the rear of the packaging, giving you dimensions so you can plan and measure before buying...

We are looking into how feasible they are on 'Wood one' because they are so great at adding atmosphere. I will update this when I get to try the others in the range.

The buildings retail at around £20 in the U.K and as swissracer said are very easy to construct simple push fit with NO gluing required.

Sorry Swiss,
But that looks terrible on your track, no worse than that awful, best you get rid of it this instant I have a special place for recycling old plastic like that it’s the BleebAutoDrome, PM me any time I’ll save you, by taking it off your hands.

Now seriously I think if you can find the right place they look stunning, it’s a shame they don’t come with people to fill all those "80" seats!

Did anybody notice the look of the powerbase, its a different shape and the display faces the track. Could that be the new 4 car powerbase? Also I dont think the grandstands look bad, but for my track and highth reasons on the grandstand,Iam going to take a dremill and cut them in half, then you double seating on straightaways, its only to bad the smaller grandstand(top) will have a canopy( but then again, I am in the US and there are no covered grandstands here).
