Just noticed the 'Planned Releases' section on the Slot.it website... which might very well have been online for a while - but, as today is the first time in a long time that I've been browsing from my PC instead of my mobile, it's new to me.
Nice to see Slot.it making the effort to keep their customers up-to-date on what's coming when - just hope the schedule doesn't get rescheduled too often! Looks like my Nissan R89C purchase is still a pre-Christmas possibility, shame I'm going to have to wait until March for the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro.
Which got me thinking... what new Slot.it models are you guys hoping to get next?

Strange indeed, Greg - it was working yesterday evening when I found it!
But - yes, the page and the links to it appear to have been removed... the link is correct, I checked - but I can't access it at all now, not even via my browser history. Shame!

Good to know, h0ndre... I was starting to think that maybe I'd imagined the whole thing!
Perhaps the Slot.it web guys are live-testing new pages, and take them offline while they're working on them? Personally, I thought it was a great idea - so, I hope they'll have it back online again soon.

Nope - I didn't think of that at the time, unfortunately. Reckon you're right, though... I must've caught a late-evening test, not quite ready for roll-out!
So, yes - I asked Maurizio about this earlier, and he just informed that "the new web site is not ready yet, what you saw shouldn't have been published as it is not finalised...". So, apologies to all from me for causing any excitement or confusion - guess we'll just have to wait a little longer for the big unveil!
Slot.it should do some saloons, BTCCs, DTMs, *Yank'Tanks*, Jag XJS, 60's Jags, Lotus Cortina etc & the like.
I know that Racer SideWays is trying to fill this gap a bit, but just imagine a Le Mans Jag XJS made by Slot.it
,
.
If they made a white kit version of it = How fast would that sell & what an amazing selling product it would be.
I'm liking the idea of BTCC cars, Rick - classic 60's saloons even more. To be honest, even if it was 'just' a range of white kit shells, ready to mount directly onto an HRS2 chassis, I'd be a very happy boy indeed!
Browsing at the site again today, I see there's a whole bunch of new material to look at - not least of all, a detailed section covering specifics of the new 4WD system.
I'm liking the new layout, too - not significantly different to look at, but much easier to navigate when looking to find parts codes for new bits; search feature is a neat addition.
I read, I think on Slot Car Illustrated, that they are putting back the Audi R8 to 2016. I presume they are focussing on the classic F1 for 2015 which is good
Matt
