doh, there goes another pair of clean pants.

I think I might have to ask for these as a crimbo present.

Do they come with inline as an option or do you have to buy anglewinder and then buy a new pod and gear?

Standard model is supplied as a sidewinder powered by SC008b 20k motor. Inline & Angle winder mounts are available.

I just gold hold of the Epson model. No rear wing on the model ? One is supplied in the box, I thought it was a spare ? Do you have the same experience or do I have to contact the dealer ?

Mine had no rear wing attached too.

The presentation box was full of polystyrene bits that I tipped in the bin, thought I had lost the wing then..

Thanks, sounds to be ok then. Still a bit weird to present a model like that.

Sure ...

Here is some feedback :
- the rear wing has to be glued, there is no way to fix it in another way. I guess Scaleauto thought the wing would break and so the car would be raced without wing anyway, so why put it in the first place ?
- there is also a front splitter within the box. Four small screws are provided to fix it to the chassis.
- the crown is black. When the first prototype was shown, the crown was in a light shade of blue and some of us complained that it could be seen from the back of the car. Good news.
- Paint and tampoo quality is fine
- wheel inserts (rim, brake disc and brake pad) are fine
- interior is well detailed even though the model seems very light
- the aerial on the roof is really stiff. I don't think it will survive the firs crash.
- I find the front wheels a bit small, or to put it another way, the wheel arch seems way too large for the size of the wheel. Better for the track performance but not very good for the look of the model. It is the second model in a row where I see such a gap (the other being the Audi R18 from Slot. It)

Mine is very fast indeed ......................but needed a HUGE amount of work to get it somewhere near.

My opinion is that the car was released too early, there are a number of things wrong with it, that all point to the thing being released before it was properly ready.

It's all fixable ................ eventually ! !
