Here is a selection of the Stats available for SlotForum taken over the last week. This is a snapshot taken over a typical week. It doesn't show progression over the last few years, I'll show that another time.

Most are self-explanatory. Feel free to ask about any details.

How long do visitors stay online. Visits of less than ten seconds appear to the left of the graph; visits of more than 1801 seconds appear on the right side of the graph.

Visitors from 68 distinct countries come to SlotForum. Here are the top 25 countries. P/Visit means the number of pages viewed on average from that particular source.

Each dot represents between 1 and 500 visits. Larger dots are groups of over 500 visits.

How the visitors arrives at SlotForum. Direct means they typed the name or had it in their bookmarks.

Of the visitors that came in via search engines, this is the breakdown per search engine.

Good to see that Firefox is gaining a foothold. Try it out sometime.

Windows dominate as expected. It's funny how the Mac users are so loquacious wink.gif

Good to see that nobody is using 640x480 any more and also good to see that only about 10% are using 800x600. It means we can pitch the content to larger screen resolutions.

Thanks everyone for making this place so popular and active. A very international forum indeed. Group hug thumbsup.gif

Very interesting stuff and I can see how this type of info can be useful!

Thanks for putting this up, Doug.

But... can't we get our faces on the map dots? cool.gif

All sorts of very interesting stuff up there

I note that more people are using 1024 x 768 screens than absolutely everything else put together. I would have guessed that but nice to see it confirmed. smile.gif

PS. Fergy, MY face is one of those dots!

Interesting to note that more people linked here from the Bolwextric site than from SCI. Or at least I think that's what it means! wacko.gif

Mr. M, that is what it means in terms of direct links. But don't forget that many SCI members will also have personal links of their own to SlotForum! wink.gif

There is so much great info in those stats though! For example (and I know language comes into play), I would not have expected Canada to be #7, ahead of Spain! blink.gif And we even had a high page count! smile.gif

Some interesting stuff here, for sure.

Tropi, it's the image of two overlapping dots that worries me... it looks like... nope, can't go there! wink.gif lmfao.gif

I have you easily beat for visitors per day but I would kill to have your ratio of pageviews per visit. sad.gif

Nice to see Russell has most of the Middle East slot market to himself, and looks like more work is required in China and Russia to boost membership. Are there no rich Russian Businessmen out there who would like to sponsor SF?...... biggrin.gif

Regarding the access stats..is not SCI and ezeboard the same thing, (although I think they have recently changed software). Also in the "Browser" section you have Mozilla and Firefox as seperate entries, are they not the same thing?....

Nice set of statistics.

Regards

Alan

p198.ezboard.com is Homeracingworld.com

Mozilla has another browser. Part of the Mozilla suite.

Interesting stats.

However I just noticed that when I looked at the map of Australia and then looked at Victoria, no dots were on the place where Melbourne is itself. They were all situated in the middle of Victoria where Bendigo is. Yet I live in Melbourne, as do other members on this site. And I did visit the site within the last week and I'm sure other people did. I mean it's no big deal.

Just interested.

I don't think the dots are 100% accurate. My dot is where my ADSL line integrates into the wider network at a town called Amiens about 40km away. The local substation telco switch is not seen.

They do though give a good indication of spread and overall volume. It is good to see visitors from all over the globe.

It's more than just good.
It's how we want it to be, how it SHOULD be.
A gathering place for friends; bringing people together in a common interest, no matter where they live or what their preferences - all are welcome here.
It's what the internet is for, what sociable hobbies are for and what slot racing is all about.

And to avoid sounding too bloody pompous, I like the pretty pictures too! laugh.gif
