Last night we raced our first 1/24 Group A race...
The start of the evening was a bit hectic because of people who came far to late with cars that weren't ready at all... but we raced afterall... Due to the hectic situations and my stressy feelings I completely forgot to shoot pictures and film during the race... but I have a few... The Grid: Gunther (6.371-3pts), Bram (6.600-2pts), Jo (6.940-1pt), Slim (6.976), Ben (7.056), Pieter (7.528) and Koen (DNQ, had to start from pits)   Results of the race: Bram: 254 Laps - 12 pts (10 race + 2 qualif) Gunther: 252 Laps: 11 pts (8 race + 3 qualif) Slim: 243 Laps: 6 pts (6race) Ben: 227 Laps: 4 pts (4 race) Jo: 225 Laps: 4pts (3 race + 1 qualif) Pieter: 183 Laps: 2pts (2 race) Koen: 177 Laps: 1 pt (1 race) So Bram takes the lead in the 1/24 championship... And I must say... the results are a lot closer here than in the 1/32 races... I had the intention of taking pictures of Slim's really superbly built Golf (the only one that hasn't been in the scratchbuilding board), but the driver figure came loose in a crash in the free practice before I had the chance of taking propper pictures. Later in the race there were more incidents with the Golf (especially with Koens Sierra), wich lead to this... It are very bad pictures... the camera focussed completely wrong... but I may have something to do with me focussing wrong too late in the night   Later the ream bumper gave it up too...  Next wednesday is the second raceday of the championship... G. -------------------- Survival of the fastest...

But wednesday I'll take some more and better pics! What I did do was put my camera on a chassis... and I made an "on board" movie... but it's too dark... I'll make sure there is more light next time... G. -------------------- Survival of the fastest...
