So this one got missed it seems, lets rectify that smile.gif

Same as most other manufacturers, Ninco has a few new releases and some re liveries lined up for this year.

The biggest news seems to be the imminent release of the Mosler MT900R. It seems there is a race of a different kind at the moment with Ninco and NSR rushing to be the first to the market. A comparison of the two will be highly interesting and, for sure, a future SlotForum article.

For those who like background info on their cars, take a look HERE.

Their news leaflet brings us onto other releases nicely...

A cool looking Ford Focus as a new addition to their rally series although it wasn't on display.
However, the Nissan 350Z was! They join Scalextric this year in releasing this car. Ninco's version will fit well with their Supras and Hondas and are also on the anglewinder chassis...

Above all those though, by far the coolest Ninco of the year for me is the extension of the Renault Megane Trophy car range.
Stunning lookers and enough liveries to make a fantastic series. Easy to work on and good performers out of the box should you so wish...

Ninco Classic series is a long runner, one of their longest running ranges and there have been some great releases over the years. I am a huge fan of all these cars, Mugello was built specifically with these in mind.
So it is with great pleasure that I present two wonderful re liveries, the first is an Austin Healey 3000, the first Healey in true racing livery (as opposed to Rally) and the second is a sharp looking Porsche 356. The 356s are notoriously hard to tune and are very twitchy to race, compared to others in the classic range but I don't care smile.gif I have a soft spot for this car that led me to add all of them to my collection.

Take a look at these!..

Finally from the Ninco stand are these glimpses, a new, hardwearing packaging for the new Master track sets. No excuse not to take your hobby with you now wink.gif...

Ninco's track design software on DVD (apologies for the pic quality)...

and last but not least, a new addition to the tuning range, lexan interiors...

Like you, Swiss, I shall have to get the Porsche to keep the vintage collection complete. But, if it's true that the NC1 is no longer in production, what motor has it got in it?

They were always a struggle to keep the right way up before, but if that has a Speeder in it................... ohmy.gif

yep! NC5 and not in a motor mount so conversion work required. BUT!

There seems to be no truth to the fact the NC1 is no longer in production, it is still in the new catalogue and there does not seem to be a shortage of them OR motor mounts.
Lets open this can of worms again for the hell of it PLUS I am on holiday for a week so who cares? wink.gif

NC1 - deleted/ old stock/ still in production?

State your case!

Mr M - as an aside we have been running NC5 Classics ( I had to submit due to no one having older Classics with NC1 motors! sad.gif ) any using 10 volts, this redresses any imbalance and whilst I would not dream of competing with a 356 (what?? risk losing?????) I have to say they are fun, I think the extra weight or the motor helps a little.

I'd like to get the black 350Z and a mosler.
What motors do they have? NC-6 or NC-5 or any other.

I'd guess all the standard release cars have the NC-5 and the Ninco club car will have the NC-6.

Sources close to HobbyCo indicate the Xavex Mosler will be realeased around March...

Hopefully this IS this case and there isn't too much of a delay smile.gif

Word from NINCO Bob here in the states is that the NC1 is OoP, but that they have enough in stock to keep those that want it happy for the forseeable future. And on HRW, I've seen mention of a few comparable replacement motors available at a lower cost.

I can't imagine running the NC1-356s at more than 10v, but my Carrera track is very slippery (dust accumulates quickly) to begin with....

You Have to do it dribble.gif I only have the Red/Orange one chipped but they are great cars easy to chip, hot little motors every time I get to a shop with money in my pocket they have sold out of them, but I'm intending to get more.

Hmmm, Megane... weird looking wagon and no mistake.

Do we know what other liveries are in the pipeline for the Mosler or 350?
