Andy and I discussed this with Adrian Norman on our recent visit to the Scalextric factory. He initially showed a lot of interest in it but the bean-counters don't want to produce any more track pieces. It's sets that sell. He wishes they had included pieces like the plain crossover when they were setting up all the SSD pieces but it never happened.

So, I think we need a petition. If we can get enough people wanting to buy this chicane then I think we could influence Scalextric's decision. It should cost about the same as a car to make and sell and I think it would be a big seller. What do you think? I'd buy one.

the very early pictures showing the clc were indeed made out of 2 45° sections,so the tooling exists somewhere.???

I am all for it too and would get at least 2 if not more and know few other people who would be interested too.

Perhaps, one of the admins/moderators can set up official poll so we can gauge the interest?

If a new CLC was to be made i would vote for the crossover variety like the SCX ones... they are a real space saver... sorry they are not racing line but surely a bi directional curved crossover with a sensor straight would be cheaper to "stock" than 4 different types and be more flexible for users!

Cheers guys... I'm still on rug racing so can't be attaching it yet but once I go permanent I'll do so. I'll just have to keep an eye on it during setup!

I also took a quick video.. pace cars only, but did the job!

All this stuff is amazing.. I like the idea of this piece but without the outside lane so i.e. force into a single line chicane with an exit choice....

Finally with a permanent track after many years of want! PBPro and SSDC making all of the difference!

You need either two "Out-2-In" Left Hand or two "Out-2-In" Right Hand
