General Notes

1. Practice Starts As Soon As the Track Is Built, the hall is available to us from 7:15PM please turn up as soon as possible to help build the track.

2. Race controller has the final decision

3. If 3 cars crash on one corner during lap One the race will be restarted.

4. Any car causing a jump-start will be penalised with a 3 sec’ delay.
. There will be 90 seconds between races; if your car is not raceable there will be a club car available to race.

6. Championship year: points will be awarded per race, i.e. 1’ST= 5 / 2nd= 4 / 3rd = 3, etc. The lowest 3 weeks scores of the championship year will be dropped i.e., holiday’s etc…..

Marshalling

1. Do not wear anything that dangles on the track there is no need to create more work for yourself than is already provided by the drivers.

2. Try to concentrate on the job at hand. This entails not holding a conversation or eating your tea etc

3. Don’t try to replace a de-slotted car if there is a chance you may take another car off in the process. Your fist task is to clear the circuit of debris.

4. Don’t guess which lane to put a car back into – if it is not stickered properly that is the drivers fault and he will thank you in the long run for not putting it in the wrong lane

5. In the event of a multiple crash, the car causing the pileup should be replaced last (if possible).

6. Don’t take anything a driver say’s during the heat of the moment to heart, He probably doesn’t meant it – it’s just you are the most convenient person to vent his frustrations on.
