Actually I think there are many, many more of the Cup liveries than the RSR's. There is a whole field of Cup cars in the Super Cup series, while in the ALMS and the LeMans Series (and at LeMans for that matter) there are only a few RSR's.

if counting on cars you are right. all cup cars, fia gt-3 national and international, grand am. IIRC Porsche sold lots of their cup cars, about 90+. Anyway, the RSR look more spectacular and more than 20 racing 997 RSR should be enough for collecting great liveries … unsure.gif

Been away for a week or so... to come back and see this certainly put a smile on my face. Nicest-looking 997 so far IMHO. thumbsup.gif

Very interesting.

That site, not another porker (yawn).

Is that the German distributor or what, do we know?

They need to release these in a kit form, so you can paint them like the cars of the local Carrera Cup series whereever you may be.

No doubt it will be a very nice car when ready, but isn't this the 4th or 5th different brand to release the 997 this year?

4th I think. Ninco and AutoArt released so far. Carrera have announced the RSR, due towards the end of the year according to Pendle. Scalextric or Fly next? biggrin.gif

You just can't have too many Porsches biggrin.gif

cheers,

Rob blink.gif
