I'd like to know if there are any developments on the Metro 6R4 and RS200 front ?
Any release dates projected yet ?

Anyone had any thoughts on adapting or making an airbox for the roof?

Also how about a stablemate for this car with Phil Collin`s to re-create their battles on the Isle of Man.

Still looking for someone to do the decals!

Phil,

Teamslot has air boxes for the Toyota Celica (they are a little different but are an approximation) I think they sell it as spares.

I would think it wouldn't be too difficult to do ones yourself, using plastic sheets for hobby (cutting and gluing).

Has anyone ever bought a car from Hobby Slot Classicos (do not confuse with hobby Classic)?

Please give some feedback on the mechanics and quality of finishing.

Even though it is an insane amount of money to spend I am seriously considering getting the Proto Citroen DS because it fits a period I am trying to build a group of cars (1970-1972). Great looking cars in that period already available: Renault Alpine A110, porsche 911, porsche 914, Fiat 124 spyder, BMW 2002, Ford Escort 1600.

Thanks for the idea`s, I`ll have a look at the Teamslot part or I do have some thick plasticard sheets, I`ll see how things go.

B***y perfect!! I feel some bodyshell stripping coming on. Not only is Historic rallying on an up in the "real" world of motorsport its on the up in1/32nd as well.

Just for info listed under SP 078 Vip, EMI decals there are Chequered Flag ones.

SCX bodyshells can be stripped efficiently in methylated spirits, Ninco`s don`t. I`ve just checked Pendle site and 32-175 and 32-177 are 1/32nd scale decals and 24-325 and 24-328 are 1/24th.

Maybe it's just mine but the new SCX Escort muddy version seems to have been sparsely muddied - and looking at some of the ones for sale on epay I get the same impression.

I have all the other muddies and they were all well-muddied (although maybe the Daily Express was a slightly different brown ...) So, my question is: are all the new ones alike? If so, is there a reason for this?

Maybe the airbrush started to dry up?

If its the McRae Escort, there arn`t that many muddy tarmac roads on the Isle of Man, it looks about right to me, having been there.
The previous muddy versions (ie: RAC) were a bit overdone in my humble opinion, but they would have had the door numbers and reg plates cleaned by marshals at the end of each stage. biggrin.gif
