The first breaking news of the Fair is from Slot.It.
After the recent rumours of a reissue of the Audi R8C we can announce that this is NOT a re release but a 100% new model with, for the first time, capable of running in AW format. This is acheived with the use of a brand new motor, designed specifically by and for Slot.It.

Turn the sound up and read on!.... Slot.It RELOADED

Woweeeee! What a surprise, and a welcome one too. dribble.gif This new motor is going to rock the boat. I hope we can get a review of its performance soon. Doubtless Slot.it have tested it to destruction. Besides the motor that's one fantastic car for racers and collectors alike anyway, and from an Italian company. thumbsup.gif Form an orderly queue...behind me!

Hello,

hope you're enjoying the Trade Fair.
Can someone there please ask the Scaley-people whether the 007-collector's box will feature the high-impact cars or some nicely detailed ones? Got the 2008 catalogue and all the sets I saw will include the "simpler" high-impact cars, but the "top secret"-labled collector's box misses that icon.

It would be nice, if someone could figure that out while they're here in lovely Bavaria!

Greetings from Munich!

Rallywise not too interesting so far. Well the Ninco Bowler is very GOOD and the C4 might be good for competition but it does not excite me. The slot.it flat motor can be good for rally chassis conversions allowing the preservation of more of the cockpit.

What are the specifications of this motor? Magnetic force, rpm and torque?

Thanks, Swissracer for the info. I post it here. We have 3 new motors:

1) MN09HFlat-6 20,500rpm - 200g*cm @12v, 10g magnetic traction

2) MN11H Flat-6R open can 23,000rpm - 200g*cm @12v, 22g magnetic traction

3) MN11C Flat-6R closed can 23,000rpm - 200g*cm @12v, 6g magnetic traction

Only missing the actual weight of the motor, it is clearly reduced this will change
the handling of the cars.

Find some rally jewels, please.

Is it true that Spirit is doing the Volkswagen GTI MkI?

What about the Fiat Abarth 131 from SCX?

You are doing a great job, very professional. Thank you.

An eclectic selection of cars being released by Carrera. Looks like they are continuing to make a strong push for the American market.

Good to see Ninco doing the Gallardo (quite why Scalextric only do it in high impact form amazes me). Also thumbs up for the Chevy WTCC, Bowler and Lexus.

The Ninco Lexus SC430 is great news, as is the fact that their Pro Race Evo range of parts will also be available for 3/32" axles.

I'm not too keen on Fly's ugly 'Flyer's' Daytona Prototypes -- I always thought that DP should stand for 'Damn Perverse' rolleyes.gif

And why, oh why, yet another Ferrari 250LM......

No picture of the Bowler? I rather hoped that there would be - after reading the Ninco club e-newsletter that arrived today.

Perhaps the production hasn't got beyond photo's yet?
