What a difference a year makes,
At this point last year the best total laps in each class were as follows:- Megane 134.93 (Mick) Slot-It 121.64 (Nick) JGTC 136.15 (Nick) The records now stand at:- Megane 142.02 (Nick) Slot-It 136.67 (Simon) this is only 5 short of the best achieved when we used to run magnets! JGTC 145.25 (Gary) GT 142.94 (Simon) (New class since last year) Keep on racing

Except in both Meganes and JGTC we have got the same motors and tyres....
 I agree with you on the slot.its, the pace has certainly picked up with the wider choice of parts (and made it more interesting), and I would think we have not got to the limit with this class yet  I think its down to my tyre treatment getting into the track and making it even faster...... I melted the lap time record for Meganes with a 4 week old car. No-one could do a 6.7 a year ago. Shame it got trashed by someone coming across the main straight. I wish we had a video of it flying through the air.

I think part of the Slot-It pace is down to the extra choice of parts but we were already in the low 130's by the end of last year, Infact Simons win yesterday was the first for a boxer2.
If the end result is the same as Rikos I doubt anyone would want to do a 6.7sec lap, Six 3min races of consistant 7.0 sec laps is more than good enough to take the overall win! |

Have you worked out who that was yet across your lane, i know I had to do days of thunder style through the middle of you and ken, once my car actuall got of the line that was after my throttle broke

 he`s suffering with age related problem`s.Better not making a big issue of it, otherwise we will have to add stress to his problems,

Yes, but we are now using magnetic engines so still a form of magnet in the non magnet classes!
