The Slot it 29 high torque could be a contender for this track along with the 35K scaleauto. If you want a more controllable car then either the Slot it 25k high torque of Scaleauto 28K.
Gearing
The track is open and fast good starting point 11/36 or 11/34
Guides
Deep guides will work but need to be trimmed slightly.
Power
Track is powered by Pendle PSRT2 transformers one per lane and runs @ 13.8v.
As for car choice, last years Final was won by a Jag although there were just about every available Slot it car seen on track.

Hi All,

Look forward to seeing you all at Lantrisant in Sunny Wales next month. Track is still keeping OK. Plenty of grip.

I have already booked the room for the Saturday night meal. As you can see the Hotel is next to
the restaurant, Nice accommodation, unlike the Woosdhouse Inn I suggested last year, I do apologise for that!!!!!!!Didn't realise it was that bad!

Unfortunately doors will be open for practice at 2pm, the hall is booked up in the morning. The hall will be closed at 6.30pm.
Sunday doors open at 8.30.

Hope it all goes well as last year.......I am sure it will.
Any queries feel free to PM me or post on the forum.

Regards

Steve.
