Club Members Wanted, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire Options

Like most smaller clubs we are always looking for new members.
If you live in the catchment area and are free come along. What have you got to loose it's fun and the first night won't cost you a penny. It's a great atmosphere, Oh and you won't be last, as that's my place

On Thursday evenings:

We race Scalex type 1:32 slotcars at the moment that consists of:

4x4 - Any 4x4 Slotcar. (Current favourite is the Ninco Peugeot 307’s)
Saloon Car – Any Saloon car (Current favourite is probably the Spirit Peugeot 406’s)
F1 – Any F1 car (Current favourites are the Ninco F1’s)
Sports car – Any Sports car (Current favourites are NSR Moslers)

The format is simple three minutes warm up followed by three minutes Racing. While not racing you are expected to marshal. Each racer get’s to drive each class, rotating through the lanes race by race.
Racing starts at approx 7pm on a Thursday

New members are always welcome to join us there will always be loan cars available for you to try while you get a feel for the track. We always welcome new members to come along young or old.

On Tuesday evenings:

We race each of the 1/32nd scale BSCRA classes (Production, Saloon, F1, Sports) every week. Each driver gets one race in each class. Points are awarded down to 14th place and the 4 championships run side-by-side for 13 weeks. Then we give out trophies for the top three and the top Juniors in each class. The best ten scores in each class count, so if there are weeks you can’t make it, you still have a chance.
On the 14th week we do ‘something completely different’; a handicap event using club-owned TSRF 1/24th scale NASCAR cars. Everybody gets a drive with every car and we run a final for the top four at the end of the night. Then a trophy again, but this time the winner gets to keep it!

Fees: Race night-Adult £2.00, Child £1.00 (Under 16s).

Yes, a fantastic club...I've been a member for 1yr+, a great night out from the stresses of the daily grind. Warning....it can become addictive!...you have been warned. Ages range from 13-50+ (what age is Moe?)
