Received from Gaugemaster this morning:

We are pleased to announce that the restructure of FLY CAR MODEL and GB RACING TRACK is now complete and the new company is ready to begin the next chapter of Fly’s illustrious history. The new company retains the knowledge and experience from Fly Car Model and intends to produce very small production runs from their bases in Spain and China.

We are still waiting back for answers on a number of issues such as spare parts, old stock and the UK limited editions that were announced in 2008. As soon as we have any further information, we will be in touch.

A few pictures of the Williams F1 car were attached along with new logos; (i will upload these shortly).

They also issued a PDF document;
“Fly Complete List” is a spreadsheet compiled by Fly of the entire “Old Fly” range. This is a useful reference point both for dealers and collectors.
If someone can tell me how to upload this to the forum i'm sure many will find it useful

Thanks for the info. Good news for Fly fans!

Here are the documents from Fly:

Fly Complete list (Excel spreadsheet 190kb)

Fly New products (PDF 311kb)

Gareth, For some reason the Excel doesn't upload as an attachment. I've FTPd it up to the server.

Back for another couple of years and then rebrand leaving more creditors in the lurch perhaps?

but thats just the cynic in me.

Glad they are back, they changed slot cars for the better.

You get what you pay for....buy a cheaper car and then upgrade it, you'll still end up paying the same if not more.

I like fly cars, nicely detailed and generally pretty good out of the box.

Fly Ferrari F40, £49.95
Slot-It Ferrari F40, £49.99

Tough choice, NOT! I think will be spending the extra 4p. biggrin.gif

Well whoopie smile.gif That is ok then they aren't quite as bad then... unsure.gif

Slot.it really raised the bar. I don't I have ever had a Fly car work well out of the box - well except with magnets wink.gif

I'll with Pressbutton 4p and you get good axles, a pair of alloys, silicone wires, brass contrate, beautiful detailed body - in fact why are Fly so damn expensive question.gif

Could it be why they went bust question.gif

Glad they are back, but pricing needs to be keener IMO.
So when do we expect the first supplies to start hitting the retailers ?
