The November event will take place on the 1st and we will have at least one new routed stage and an extended version of the Killarney stage (with lane changer). If anyone is happy to bring along a new stage they are more than welcome please let us know. Phil F will post the regs soon.

Hi,

I forgot the VW Golf (spirit) will be in classic class and the Escort Cosworth is in WRC modern class.

There will be ten stages (MDF, Scaley, SCX and Ninco).

Cheers

I'd like an entry please - my first venture into rallying...I'm already nervous! All stages except the 1600 probably.

Thanks for that Bill, looking for a first in class this time? Thanks Peter and Gareth.

Dave no need to be nervous, we just play with toy cars and have a good laugh! See Gareth`s report in his months NSCC journal (Thanks Gareth).
As for entries, its up to four cars and can be different classes or more in one class, although highest place per class counts in results and entry is £2.50 per car, you can decide nearer the date which to have a go at.

Added to regs, motors, axles, gears and wheels must be standard fitting to all classes except modified/scratch built.

I don't know what I've done right but the missus has given me a daypass for this!

I'll have a go in each class, and if you'd like I could probably bring either my DIY Loops or my modular Weeton Airfield routed track.

See: http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?...&pid=421063

(Sorry I can't seem to get the post link working mad.gif )

Regards, Stu

Hi Stu,

You are welcome to bring the Weeton airfield track, looks a very good track, just a couple of questions!

Can you plug any throttle into the track using 3 pin plug?

Can the lap counter have a total race time eg 3 laps of track = 24 seconds?

Looking forward to having a go on your airfield track.

Cheers

Yes please John, have a think about the design and give us an idea of the table size, that`ll be great. Probably see you at Brooklands.

Phil(s).
The Weeton track uses a scaley power point and controller (jack plug type with brake capability), but I could probably knock up an adaptor/adaptors if you let me know what connectors most people use.

(I gather then for the other stages, I'll need to use my own 3 wire controller?)

The lap timing can be set for either a fixed time or a set number of laps. The reed switch has been moved to eliminate the missed laps, which seems to have worked but I'll know for sure after the 19th as I'm hosting a slot night for my motor club.

Please PM me with details if you'd like, save clogging up the thread.

Cheers, Stu.
