Track Infomation
Lanes: 4
Length: 100ft
Surface: MDF Sandtex
Rails: Copper tape
Power: 13.8v Transformer.

Set up Tips
Chassis
Offset sidewinder motor mount with or without suspension. Track is smooth so no big advantage either way.
Tyres
P4 and P6 are the usuall suspects here. Depends on the driver.

Motors
The 35K scaleauto can be used to make time up on the straights but can be a handfull throught the twisty bits. If you want a car that is nice and steady but still competitive then, either the Slot it 29k/3 of Scaleauto 28K. The Scaleauto yellow 25k longcan also works well as a Anglewinder in Mclarens or Jags. Audi raws also a quick car.

Guides
I think Cut down deep guides will work but I prefure the standard grey guide.

Cars
As for cars I think it will be a grid of Mclarens, Jags and Audi Raws.

Thanks Nick,
Nothing much to add to Nick's set up tips;
Most home drivers will use P6 tyres.
If you use the Scaleauto 35/36K and the true speed controller, gear it 10-34. Nick's reference to deep guide being cut down, means shorten its length slightly so as not to bind on the inside lane at the hairpin, the track is fully routed so can cope with the depth.
The club also has a strict 'dry tyres to the track' policy.
See you all there.
Kind Regards Bill.

Having started preparing the new Slot It Mazda i have already managed to break the rear spoiler while attempting to remove it.
Fantastic detail but no good for racing. The solution looks simple. With minor modification to the body post the spare spoiler from the Jaguar XJR9 makes an almost perfect replacement and is a lot stronger. My suggestion is to allow the Mazda to race in the SIC with this mod'.

I have spoken to Sean and i am waiting for clarification. which he will post on this thread.
Hopefully it will be a yes as it is a really easy and sensible modification to do and would prevent a lot of problems.
