As the title says I'm look for a club in the north west. I live in Windermere Cumbria so realise I will have to travel to meets.
Currently I rug race with the kids and a few mates. On a scaley classic track with a few sports track parts added to it, with a max track length of 16.5mtr. Racing A1gp cars or Porsche Boxters at the moment. (more cars to be added in the future)
If anyone can point me in the direction of a club around here or within a 1hour or so drive from windermere I'd most appreciate it.

Just had a look for more info on the Carlisle club and found out it is now closed sad.gif more info here

Failing that it looks like I'll have to have a drive out to Pendles 1 tuesday night only 1 an 1/2 hour drive away. rolleyes.gif

I think Blackpool just run the brass chassis blob cars please take a look at our club site which is in my sig at the bottom of my post. Although i realise its a long way to our club from you. Can't think of any nearer though.

Thanks for the replies folks. Think I'm going to take a long drive down to Pendles some time soon. Just have to wait for the wife's uni hrs to be sorted then I can start looking at dates when I can make it.

corsacarrally would I be right in saying I'd be more sensible coming down on a free practice night rather than a race night?

Hi Gaz Even if you come down on a race night one us will have a good car and controller to borrow and you will be more than welcome to join us.

If you do come down on a Practice night you can have as much practice on the track as you like again with a borrowed car or bring some of your own. If you would like any more info please do not hesitate to ask.

Looks like i'm coming down for October 27th PCS 32 Saloons Rd 6. As it half term so the wife doesn't need me around to help get the kids to bed smile.gif

Thanks Nick that would be great if you could do that.
I had a search online for all the classes you race at the club. The psc tourers look to me to be the most fun out of the 3 classes you race.

Looking forward to seeing how it all runs as well. As after chatting to my mate who runs the local warhammer gaming club, he thinks I could set up a track in the spare room in the club cellar. So we might have a track up here in the lakes at some point in the future biggrin.gif
