4 Lane 75ft MDF routed track with 4inch lane centres ideal for 1/32 & 1/24 scale racing.

The Track comes in 8 sections which measure 5x4ft each giving a total size of 20x8ft. 2 of the sections can be removed to shorten the track if needed down to 16x8ft. The track surface is a dark grey eggshell finish complete with magnetic braid. All the sections interlock and bolt together to give a nice smooth joint. (the pictures show the track at it full extent - the boards were not fastened together simply sloted together for the photos) Track is wired for brakes and is supplied with 3pin 2 amp sockets.
This track has been in storage for a while with plans to use it at the new club but space is an issue as we already have a wooden track.
The overall condition of the track is very good although the braid has lifted in quite a few places, and would need re-glueing before use.
The track is sold without any lap timing equipment but it does incorporate a dead strip section for linking to a lap counting programm.
This is a ideal opportunity to purchase a great little fun track for either a new club starting out or somebody who wants a portable wooden track for corporate use.
Selling Price 700 ono (buyer collects or can deliver at cost)

It's mine!!!!!!!!!!

We hired a van yesterday and went up to collect it. Thanks Sean and Nick.

Horrendous weather on the way back and the track has only got as far as the porch. We're away for the weekend and then it's work so it'll be a few days before I can get it down to the shed, up and running.

Cheers

John

Hi Matt,

Yes, we'll organise something soon. There won't be lots of room with all that track but I reckon up to 8 could squeeze in. just right, 4 racing 7 4 mardhalling.

Cheers

John

Take those squiggles out of each end of the straight on the right and it would be a great track! biggrin.gif
looks like it could easily be expanded in both direction, ever thought of a bigger shed John?

I wondered how big the bags were on your motorcycle to transport it. Then I re-read and saw you hired a van... tongue.gif

Congrats!

Remember this?

I've finally got round to replacing the braid and setting it up. I've just got to sort out a few bumps where sections join and install the lap counters.

In view of Phil's comments above I'm trying it without one of the straights to make the squiggles flow better. I can always add it later.

Sorry about the carp photos but you can get an idea:

Hi John

Excellent news, we only beat you to it by a few weeks!

We just have a couple of minor bumps left to sort out, at the joins, although some were improved last week by gentle adjustment of the track pieces.

When's the inaugural event?

I'm hoping to be over for Double Trouble....

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave,

I'll organise a couple of informal events once the weather improves and the track's sorted. Spave in the shed is limited, we might just squeeze 12 in but tables for pit boxes etc would have to be in an awning in the garden.

It'll certainly be available on the Friday of the Double Trouble weekend.

Cheers

Have you resurrected this topic 'cause you're thinking you might take it to Gaydon to use for the Feature Race John?
Would be good if you could. smile.gif

Hi Phil,

I have enough trouble ensuring the surface is reasonably smooth in my shed without taking it all apart again.
