The 2009 Presto season went out with a big bang, the grand finale, the Presentation Night and the Team Relay Night.

The night was started with a 10 minute presentation of trophy's, too members in the club (but mainly Andy!).

Andy wins trophy number 8: Senior Club Champion!

I win Junior Club Champion!

Jimmie wins the Scalextric 50th anniversary book, presented by Steve J.

Big John wins his 2nd place medal for the NASCAR pairs night.

Big John Wins the Stryker Slot Racing-Most Improved Newcomer of 2009 award.

The serious faces of the clubs finest Paul, Mark, Andy and Roger.

The most famous thing in the club...Andy's tongue ! He didnt notice me and Mike trying to get a picture of this, with Peter directing!

Andy's car, nearly completing another lap

And finally, after 12 months, 50 race nights, and over 82,000 laps, the year is over!

Steve, Andy, B John, Paul, Mark, Richie, Dave, Paul, Mike, Max, James, Alex, Jimmie, Peter, Ian, Steve J, Roger, Roy, Andy B, Averil, Margeret, L Jon and Austin

Thanks Jon for a great posting - couldn't have done such a good job myself. Averil and I are really glad you all enjoyed the night, the hard work makes it all worth while.

I would also like to thank Mark for accepting his 'Moaner of the Year award' in such a good spirit, it certainly caused a lot of laughs at Marks expense - thanks mate.

I must say a big thank you to Andy, Ian, Jon G, and Steve J who braved the Norfolk weather to travel from the other side if Norfolk to be with us on this fantastic night.

My thanks also goes to Paul who gave me a night off to run the relay event - thanks mate.

Finally, as the curtain falls on a very memorable 2009 for us all at Presto I would like to wish all my slot friends out there (those I have met and those I have only spoken to on the phone) a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year.

Mike (Yazoo)

PS. If Andy keeps his tonque IN NEXT YEAR we may have a chance of winning some censored.gif trophies.
