The Race of Champions Fiat 500's look brilliant, makes me want to go and see it again. No doubt they will be really expensive though?

QUOTE Is that Porsche of AvantSlot 1:24 or 1:32? With a long can motor as a sidewinder and still space left I assume it's 1:24 scale |

Some comments: Racer Toyota 2000 GT: White Version, 1:32 Slot-its: Chaparalls very finely detailed. Seat-belts mounted separately and very fine silver grid details! BRM: 917. 1:24 scale. Great prototype. If you like the car, vote for it to make sure it gets produced! AvantSlot 911: 1:24 Scale |

Thanks for the answer. Last year it seemed like such a major thing on slotforum, this year is kind of under the radar. I almost forgot when it happened. Jerryo

Lots of photos, grouped by manufacturer, on the SCI site. The BRM 917 may be my first BRM purchase, simply for my love of the 917, but I wish they'd get the roof window right if they're going to do the Daytona winner.
The Slot.it Chaparral 2E looks incredible. I'll have to have every version. Looks like an expensive year. |

I amagin the Slot.it Chaparrals are clones from the Racer cars which means they are not 1/32 scale, but wider reproductions - what a shame :-(

Has Slot.it copied Racer cars in the past? Is there something that leads you to believe they are out of scale? Do they just LOOK wider than they should be? I'm totally ignorant of these things, so please elucidate me.

Do they just LOOK wider than they should be? I'm totally ignorant of these things, so please elucidate me. Slot.it has announced that in order to accommodate its motor mount design, the Chaparral will be 59mm wide. True 1/32 scale would be 50.8mm, so actual scale width is 1/27½. http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry496083 -------------------- Photos of some of my collection:
