Doesn't work like that Andy,
There may be 8 or 9 of us.
Next step 40 points. Or 7/8 points / class, i.e. average 3rd places.
I suppose even aking race distance could b a start, sorry couldn't resist. tongue.gif

OK, that's it. This means 'ALL OUT WAR' Time to dig out the 'BIG' guns.
Reinvent the slot car so only I can win. biggrin.gif

Just bought 4 new tyres for the Open session. going to sort out the controler.
The Ninco one, which did not work up at AWSCC, works fine at home, so not sure what the problem is?

1/32nd scale flame throwing tank should do the job. Blow them all away at the first corner.

I would like to suggest some classes for the next series;

SCX Rally cars 70's/80's non four wheel drive. i.e Mk2 Escorts, Talbot Sunbeam, Renault Alpine, Fiat 131, Fiat 124 etc.

Ninco GT. i.e Ford GT, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Mclaren F1 etc.

Hornby 70's F1 with underpan. i.e. JPS Lotus, Elf Tyrell etc (Only problem with these is tyres) {We could use current models Mclaren M23 and Ferrari 312T}

Fly Lemans.

SCX Nascar. (We are all enjoying the Hornby ones so why not go with SCX)

Open

All comments and suggestions welcome. Swindon swapmeet less than a month away so need to sort the classes out.

Alan

Ps will be racing on 27th December.

All look like fun to me and I should have spares for those that don't already have them.

What are you thinking about for Fly lemons?

Nothing wrong with Fly.
I was in a rush and having a senior moment.
Now realise that Fly lemons is Marcos, Venturi, Porsche etc..

Have lots and some to spare.

Andy, don't buy a SCX C.O.T. Nascar. They don't go well on woodys.
Try and get one with the rear spoiler moulded on. Like this ebay 130454379652

Not these ones 130454379650 or 270673696139

Should be some at Swindon

Pete, how do you feel about widening your selection to '70s and '80s saloons?
80s

205
Quattro
MK111 Capri (Possibly Carrera)
Metro
Sierra
BMW M3
Chevy Camaro ran from '70 - '81 2nd gen
Fiat 131
BMW 6 series
Rover SD1 (ha ha ha)

Any more you can add?

Now we all know your beemer will trot off into the distance, but spreading the years will make for easier available and cheaper cars.
