Well I have signed up ! thumbsup.gif , not for many of the reasons talked about , just that I think this is a great group and 12 euros to keep it going and to be able to
get my hand on an exclusive livery car is well worth it in my humble opinion.

chris

P.s. I didn't get the option to switch from French to English - just guessed where
the usual Paypal login was , clicked away and strangely it switched to english
at that point

PayPal acts as a gateway for VISA and Mastercard. You have to sign up to do this. It will not cost you anything to do so. I can send an IBAN number and SWIFT code if anybody is allergic to PayPal smile.gif

I am lost to Paypal, but I expect to get it on another computer, on another Lan, later (I have many f them and sometimes the proxies...).

I understand that slotforum needs support, and I agree that plus+ members is a good idea even if I don't need the present features (or perhaps yes, who knows?).

Go ahead!

Move? question.gif wink.gif lmfao.gif Sorry.... couldn't resist! cool.gif

I'm sure Nuro will advise, but I also think there should be some way to pay by international money order as it is difficult or impractical for all of us to use Paypal or funds transfers depending on where we live. Even credit cards can be a problem. In some cases, the service charges far exceed the cost to join! How about it Nuro? Perhaps a P.O. box or something where we can send a money order in Euros? question.gif

Toni Pedro is sorted out as I have family in South Africa and he can send a cheque in S.A. Rand.

PayPal doesn't incur any surcharges to the buyer at all and you can use it with most main credit cards.

We do have an address and there is a business behind it all (address found on the 'About' page, so we can accept Euros. We can accept international bank transfers, but you will pay to your bank a small commission for the transaction. If you would like to do so, please PM or email me and I'll send you our IBAN and SWIFT details.

This feature works even you have not credit on Paypal in the renewal time, so be warned!

Recent Plus+ renewals.

We have heard from some people who have been renewed and that have paid the renewal fee, but have lost the Plus+ membership status.

This is because PayPal has not send the renewal message through to our server. Some have worked whilst a few have had problems with others.

If you have had your subscription renewed and have lost the Plus+ button, please send me an email (admin@slotforum.com) or a PM and copy the PayPal invoice detail so that I can find it easily (date, your email, your SlotForum member name etc.). I'll fix it ASAP.

I have noticed on other transactions in the last week or so that Paypal has become quite unreliable at sending out email notifications of transactions. Up to this point is has been very reliable, something to watch out for.

Another year has passed by, and the renew subscription is still not a smooth and straight forward process question.gif

I realise that i am not the most computer literate person, but i have spent far too much time this morning trying to renew my subscription. dry.gif

I clicked on "My Controls"
then "Purchase Paid Subscriptions"
I can then "dot" the radio button, for a 1 year subscription, and click on the "Continue to select a payment method..." button.
this then takes me to a page that confirms:
You have chosen to purchase subscription PLUS+. The cost for this subscription is 15.00 EUR. I then have to "dot" the Paypal radio button, and then click "continue".
This takes me to yet another confirmation screen, with a "click here to use Paypal" button.

This has taken me to the sign in page for PayPal. So, up to here, no problem.
This is where i have got to, before scratching my head question.gif

Once i put in my password and click "continue", i get taken to a "add credit card or debit card". question.gif

I don't want to add any cards, i just want to pay, and I can't find any way to just pay.
Is the subscription process linked to the wrong Paypal page, or something? wacko.gif
