Thankyou John,
A great days racing, I should have done better, shouldnt have come of so much, but was second for the club eigth overall, congrats on your win John.
Very good to see Selsdon and Viking there as well, hard track to get used to with the 6 foot difference between Blue and white but you could do well in blue if you tried hard, it may be a bit of a shock to some of us when we visit the new clubs we will see, over all a fabulous start to the series and hope to see as many or more at Eastcote on the 14th Nov.
Regards

Great day.... apart from the bleedin' drive home!!!!

OXFORD RING ROAD = censored.gif

I'm ploughing my way through the results and will post here ASAP - however, a lot of the new guys I met for the first time, I'm afraid your surnames weren't put onto the computer - technical oversight. Therefore you'll have to let us know to make the results board look more official.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION)

WATFORD - 134 pts
EASTCOTE - 130 pts
VIKING - 127 pts
BURNT OAK - 117 pts
SELSDON - 103 pts
WEST LONDON - 86 pts
OXFORD - 50 pts

Shame that Wayne couldn't stay and race for Oxford, they might have got 99 points instead.

Also a shame that some drivers from Burnt Oak didn't show - now we're on the back foot!

Well done John for putting on a good days racing, there was a lot of pressure on you as you were the only home driver there. You were trying to deal with race control, repairing cars and racing yourself, not an easy task.

My thanks to John as well thumbsup.gif

A great day out.
The racing and meeting some new people as well as the old ones was and is always welcome.
Some peoples first racing on Ninco track was an eye opener for them but eventually overcome.

That journey home though................................ 1.5 hours to get there 3.5 hours home............... i,ve spent less time going on me hols. All them people on a Sunday drive

Anyway once again thanks John and congrats on winning the round. thumbsup.gif

But where were the other Burnt Oakers i think Abbo will be having words this Wednesday biggrin.gif

Well thats round 1 over with, and what a great days racing nearly everyone seemed to have. Twenty six racers, from seven different clubs is a very good turnout in my books thumbsup.gif . And there could have been more if others made the effort! A big thankyou, and well done to John(sole Oxford driver) for running the event, and putting up with us lot lmfao.gif all day. Also good to see Mhsc out number Burnt oak on the attending drivers for the day, makes a change! Maybe Mhsc can win the "team tittle" this year as well question.gif .

I have to say that the traffic was the worst I have ever seen on Sunday!!!, I have been down to Oxford on several occassions both for the this series and the wales and west and have never ever been in that much traffic before, I just hope the trip to Viking isnt so bad.
John some smashing trophies for the fun finals (where did you get them?), set the standard for those that follow.
