Guys
I'd like to keep a copy of all my sent messages by default. I've found the "Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder" check box when I'm composing a message but almost always forget to tick it. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change which will save copies by default? Thanks Cicero -------------------- awallace's SSDC Feedback Forum

By the lack of response, should I assume that there is no such setting?
Shame if so :| -------------------- awallace's SSDC Feedback Forum

Shame, I was hoping to find out too.
I've only recently realised that it wasn't keeping copies of my sent messages. Surely it makes sense for the default to be to keep, with the option not to? -------------------- |

Well it would be good if it were permanently selectable - I often wonder if I have replied to a PM or not, or did I just forget to tick the box...

One more vote for this - it can be frustrating if you don't remember to tick the box when you're sending a PM.

If I forget, it wasnt ment to last......... its just like walking around all day with a cellphone.......... I dont. If I miss something...........whatever, If its important, they'll call back anyway. but, it will, in the end, reduce the amount of stored messages in the end I guess. (coz now the amount is limited for saved messages) -------------------- ![]() |

Because I like my personal dealings with other SlotForum members to be efficient and thoughtful, to follow up on promises, and to be a man of my word. This makes that just a bit more difficult, when I can't remember what my word was. Cheers, Richard -------------------- |

Getting back on topic:
Because I like my personal dealings with other SlotForum members to be efficient and thoughtful, to follow up on promises, and to be a man of my word. This makes that just a bit more difficult, when I can't remember what my word was. Exactly. And sometimes I like to refer to things I've said. Sometimes forward things I've said to others. As Richard says - "efficiency" You've got a good point, and I'll take it up with the other mods. Thanks Don. Leaving it with you.Fingers crossed. -------------------- awallace's SSDC Feedback Forum

I was a bit in a grumpy mood you know. I know it can be usefull I am tempted to ask you what makes you think that being in a grumpy mood can be useful You did prompt me though to find the "grump" setting in my profile. I'm leaving it set to "no" for now. Given my unshakeable cheery disposition Who on earth decided that that was a setting we needed? -------------------- awallace's SSDC Feedback Forum

Who on earth decided that that was a setting we needed? Just because we have it does not mean we need it. I cite Jedward as proof of this hypothesis.
