I was going to say that new shot of the Charger is my favourite yet. But then I saw Kittyzilla!

Is that a real cat? If it isn't I can see a while a whole new Kittyzilla movie coming together with that poseable cat..........Streets of SF terrorized by giant Kitty.....just when you thought it was safe to go out......meeow....Kittyzilla II, The Revenge, or as an alternative title perhaps A Nightmare on Taylor Street.
By the way, those workman have dug a bloody great hole in the road Steve. Way past the original job order, I expect. They'll need more that a barrow of the black stuff to plug that gap. Jules |

Jules That's my cat, Jules. She is a monster for sure. I propped the Targa Florio scene against the wall the other day and she climbed it. And the hole is exactly what the council ordered. It's a job creation scheme. I fill it in each night and they start again. |

Do you need any 'donor' cars for the background?
Maybe we could have a 'That's my car in the backgound' section. I'll start; I have a 1957 Cadillac Elorado Brougham in black with silver roof. Not in the film, but it would fit the period. I'll check out the movie to see if there is anything else that will be suitable. Look here for the full list. http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=62765 I could offer more cars, but they are the wrong colours. Can we get some of the forums good painters on board? Come on guys let all get in on this. -------------------- The trouble with these Chinese slotcars is that you get one, and an hour later you fancy another one.

I don't want to be too anal about it, well I do but I just can't afford the time or money to get it 100% spot on. |

By the way, that database of cars is brilliant. I hadn't seen it before. Superb and extremely useful. Thanks.

Actually I changed my mind. I hate you now. That car database is amazing and I'm a Virgo. The combination is sheer poison. Damn you AAWSCC. ;-)

Oops, sorry Emigre!
What I meant about the cars not being the right colours though, was that you don't really see that many race liveried cars on the road. Maybe people could send some cars to Kustomart and any other volunteers and then in turn they could send them to you once they are in 'road' trim. Return P&P must be cheaper than buying cars. -------------------- The trouble with these Chinese slotcars is that you get one, and an hour later you fancy another one.

It's certainly worth consideration. I'll most likely put a list of cars I require up on here and see if anyone bites. It won't be a lot anyway as I intend to follow the fine tradition of those makers of the original and re-use cars in different scenes. Martin's Beetle is going to appear A LOT.

The first of my batch of background cars purchased on ebay arrived today. Looking good too. Perhaps not the exact models from the film and a bit of retouching on the cop car is required but they are the right period and will certainly add some depth to the film. Oh and a few drivers for the ones not parked. Next batch hopefully arriving later this week.
