This thread is so confusing
Firstly this is a Forum where any member is allowed to air their views both positive and negative. I am a relative newbie to all this interclub racing and a revatively new member at Burnt Oak. Firstly i would like to Thank Selsdon for hosting the racing. They are a friendly lot and all was made welcome. A good turn out of 30 was also good even though most if not all beat me. As it has been asked for views on the open forum from uncle Zen then this is my additional view. My views are my personal opinion and in no way are supposed to be negative but constructive, if anyone wishes to take them differently then they are misreading this post Selsdon are not the first club to have problems in an interclub challenge, chinese anyone. fly rileys anyone, Ninco reps pulling the mains out of the sockets to name just a few in my limited experience. To look forward and not back at Sunday. A lot of racers me at least get more of a buzz from having a close race than wining............. good job as i dont win that often To ensure close racing in my opinion the cars need to behave well and be closely matched. This can be achieved by race prep and or track prep. They need to be ok for all to use even the amateurs like myself. If the track set up is such that laps are missed then this needs to be addressed. I am sure that you have had more direct ideas. Please all at Selsdon dont take too much to heart as i am sure that for many of you at least you may not have realised how serious people can get about a fun event. Enjoy your racing and take an interest in the other clubs set ups as some have been running for quite a while. One last thing, there seems to be an inference that there had been a problem for you guys before the event which most of us was unaware off. I hope all is ok now, I am at the moment myself on tenderhooks as my old man is stuck in Libya and i have not heard from him since last Saturday morning Anyway, Thanks again for hosting a round of the championship and hope you join in next year Dave H................. the spikey haired one from Burnt Oak |

Well each interclub has been different for its own merits. This is why surely one would travel with friends to fellow clubs to have a day to be enjoyed. Fairplay to a club of Selsdons age to stage an event and try to give people a good day out. Thank you everybody at Selsdon and yes including the ladies serving teas etc for a great day and i hope very much to see your date in next years calender. So the bridge was a challenge isnt that what makes every track different or have i got all this fun hobby stuff wrong. Once again thank you. Looking foreward to seeing you guys at viking very soon. S.

Well done to all those at Seldon for getting the meeting finished and a set of results out despite the technical problems. Lets now all look forward to the next round.
